A Set of Six Victorian Carved Mahogany Balloon-Back Dining Chairs, circa 1870, the acanthus carved top rails above scrolled horizontal splats, the green velvet covered horsehair overstuffed seats with serpentine shaped seat rails, on carved forelegs, 47cm by 44cm by 84cm

Structurally sound with the exception of one chair. The chair which is unstable - velvet is worn on one of the corners. The seats are horse hair filled and generally in reasonable condition. The frames are good quality timber frames however forelegs around the feet are scuffed.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
