Collection in stockbook and binder, a somewhat eccentric range of material from which came the KEVII mint £1 in this sale, so presumably other things may be discovered here. Includes a few dozen imperf 1d reds incl. pairs, perf plate 210 mint, vlh mint 2/6d seahorse (pulled perf), pre-decimal QEII defin and commem traffic lights and plate number mint blocks, Castles high values better printings used, along with twelve late mid-'80s year packs mostly unopened, etc. Also a few British Commonwealth mint sets/part sets KGV-QEII.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
