A Queen's South Africa Medal, to 12187 PTE.A.R.BROOKS. 66TH.COY.IMPL.YEO., with three clasps Cape Colony, Orange Free State and South Africa 1901, suspended by a brooch bar from a Birmingham Tribute Medal, together with a brass bullet case and assorted related ephemera including a family biography of the medal recipient and including a selection of original photographs, a published account of First World War life in the trenches by the recipient, an Imperial Military Railways travel pass and a Description Card for Active Service

Note: Following his period of military service Rought-Brooks became editor of the Cambridge Daily News
