Four containers with 18 binders (15 of which are Royal Mail) of FDCs to 2012, interspersed with 1st class pictorial booklets and one of the binders is of Bradbury issue 'smiler' sheets (39), plus year packs 2000-2008 (8), as well as several empty/new stockbooks, various schoolboy albums and loose stamps. Face value excluding Machins is at least £1,400.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
