Falklands War Interest:- By and After Ashley Jackson, Two Colour Prints of The Remembrance Cross, up close and inscribed "Lest we Forget", the margin signed by the artist, David Chaundler, Commanding Officer of 2 Para and Chris Keeble, Second in Command of 2 Para; and seen from a distance, the margin similarly signed, with the addition of Margaret Thatcher, Cecil Parkinson, John Nott, Francis Pym and possibly Willie Whitelaw, together with three press photographs showing the paintings being presented to the Commanding Officer of 2 Para. Colonel David Chaundler by the former Defence Minister Roy Mason.

Footnote :- The Remembrance Cross commemorates HMS Coventry (D118), which was sunk by Argentine Air Force A-4 Skyhawks on 25 May 1982 during the Falklands War. Nineteen of her crew were killed and a further thirty injured, one of whom died later.
After the ship was struck, her crew, waiting to be rescued, sang "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Python's Life of Brian.

Highlights of the sale include a Rare First World War Tank Driver's Leather Helmet, a Mid-17th Century German Wheel-lock Sporting Gun, and a 19th Century Asmat "Ndambirkus" Ancestor Skull, New Guinea.
