Thirlwall, Taxidermist, a full mount adult Cuckoo perched upon a centrally positioned branch, above soil covered groundwork beneath, set against a plain white painted interior, enclosed within a period ebonised single-glass display case, 42.5cm by 15.5cm by 27.5cm, bearing taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior upper left, together with another full mount adult Common Cuckoo with tail raised and head lowered, perched upon a short cut branch, mounted upon a simple square base, overall height 33.5cm, (2).
