A Boer War Northumberland Fusiliers Trench Art Swagger Stick, the pommel made from two intersecting brass bullet cases engraved "LICHTENBURG, MARCH 3RD 1901" (this is the place and date that a small unit of the Northumberland Fusiliers were besieged by Boer troops commanded by de Witt); also, two mahogany cutlery cases suitable for conversion for pistol cases and a powder horn with wood tap action charger and base plate (4).
