Accumulation in four boxes/containers of various sizes, the GB in 10 volumes, mostly FDCs and some pre-decimal/early decimal presentation packs, as well as better items on stockcards and album pages incl. 1d black just short of full margins, some attractive surface-printed, KEVIII booklet BC3 (ed.321), etc, as well as a good boxed album of mint QEII with better castles sets, specialized pages of Wildings, comprehensive commem phosphor sets, etc. Also an oversize carton stuffed with kiloware packets plus off-paper mixtures across all reigns and some further FDCs, the Channel Islands/IOM in a further seven albums. Another extra-large carton has accessories incl. Post Office binders, packets of supplement album leaves, etc.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
