A Mahogany Two Day Marine Chronometer, signed John Bruce & Sons, Makers to the Admiralty, 25 So Castle St, Liverpool, numbered 2934, 1920's, brass bound two tier case, concealed side carrying handles, front signed plaque, inside silvered bezel engraved with a flag monogram of a shipping line AH for "Alfred Holt's, Ocean Fleets, Blue Funnel Line, Glen Line China Mutual, Elder Dempster Far Est, Australia, Japan", single chain fusee movement with a chronometer spring detent escapement, free sprung helical hairspring, balance with timing weights and screws, movement concealed in a gimbal and numbered 12535, 17cm high

With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number 8271AKD6.

Case with top lid missing, front plaque is cracked, brass surfaces with scratches and discoloured, case with scratches, gimbal surfaces are discoloured in parts, movement in going order.
