Crinoline stretcher with glue/repair marks at the rear section. Chair 4 - back support is damaged. Chair 5 - structurally sound. Rear left leg with small fill hole above crinoline stretcher. Chair 6 - slight movement in framework. Numerous scuffs and faults around legs and feet. Seat with some very small minor natural splits. Chair 7 - some very slight movement in joints. Heavy decay to legs, particularly rear left leg which has been ebonised. Rear right foot also retipped. Chair 8 - structurally sound. Some fill holes/polishing around the curved back support between the spindles. Elm seat split towards front which has been partly filled and polished. All chairs a good colour. 041019

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
