In overall good colour. The glass appears to have been smashed at some time and there is a cluster of small nicks to the surface of the paper where the shards have made contact with the painting. These are mostly around the central area of the painting, horizontal in shape and no more than 0.5cms in length individually. There is a larger nick to the right of the lower funnel and approx 1 cm in length. Surface scratch below the signature approx 0.5cm in length and vertical. Possible restoration in upper left hand corner as there is a chalky residue to the surface. Light surface dirt and cockelling to paper. Not examined out of the frame. Superficial vertical surface scratch in upper right hand corner and approximately 6 cms in length.
