An Edward VII Silver Spirit-Flask, Maker's Mark Worn, Birmingham, 1908, curved oblong, the base detaches as a cup, with bayonet-mounted domed cover, 10.8cm wide; Together With a Victorian sliver christening-mug, by John and William F. Deakin, Sheffield, 1900, baluster and on spreading foot, the lower body fluted, engraved with initials and with scroll handle, 10.2cm high, total weight 8oz 17dwt, 275gr (2)

Auction: Antiques & Interiors, to include Silver and Clock & Watch Tools, 4th Jul, 2025

This sale will include a specialist section of Silver, and will also include the The Clock and Watch Workshop of Robert Loomes. Due to early retirement, an array of clock and watchmaking tools, parts, machines, books and more. Robert Loomes, son of Brian Loomes, ran a Stamford-based clock and watch repair and restoration business, and within their workshop they also manufactured entirely British made watches. Robert has held directorships of the British Horological Institute (BHI) and the British Watch and Clockmakers’ Guild, and is a Fellow of the BHI.

The popular fortnightly Antiques and Interiors Sales attract a loyal following of regular buyers and they are a good source of 20th and 21st century collectables.
