51cm x 34cm (excluding frame), 72cm x 55cm (including frame) This mark is the halo above the infant St John The Baptist, the work is in unlined condition, there as been a small hole in the canvas which has been filled and restored many years ago, this very small area of restoration is now discoloured, there is a very small puncture hole in the lower right corner in background colour, slight paint loss, covered in dirt and grime, with original craquerlure 'paint crazing' throughout. The original Florentine carved frames as one or two pieces missing and also split in places
