The album for the 2/6d Wilding booklets intact save the mis-cut F1 example (Lot 64), starting with wonderful tête-bêche proofs of the front cover in dull green "minimum foreign letter rate 4d" and emerald green "post early in the day" (both unlisted), plus advertiser voucher copy examples including F17 with printed label pane, then an extensive run of main issues incl. F5 (excellent perfs) and F6 (good perfs), F15 (March '54, manuscript date on front), also an F27 booklet with stamps removed except for the ½d orange pane showing double comb of perforations on upper row (necessary reinforcements of two small hinges slightly discoloured) unusual and scarce. Cat. well over £3,500.
