Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Bamboo Framed Tropical Bird Firescreen, in the manner of Rowland Ward Ltd, London, a tropical bird firescreen diorama containing seven various specimens to include - five Blue Dacnis, three males and two females, Turquoise Tanager, and a Blue-tailed Emerald Hummingbird, with three accompanying Brazilian Tortoise Beetles, the majority mounted upon a centrally positioned branch, above painted soil groundwork and tall dry grasses, enclosed within a two-glass bamboo framed firescreen, 40cm by 80cm overall.
