1864-79 1d lake-red plate 196, spectacular mint never hinged block of twenty with margin at right. Vertical crease in the right-hand column hardly significant in context of the attractive fresh colour and impressive size of this multiple. NB: natural wrinkles far less pronounced 'in the flesh' than the appearance given in the scan. Cat. £1,400 as hinged singles.
