Auction: Stamps, Postcards & Postal History, 30th Oct, 2024

Highlights of the October 30^th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19^th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
