An interesting group of 33 better items on stockcards, including plate 11 penny black B-A, irregularly separated with parts of wide margins on all sides but along frame at right and lower-left and heavily into design at upper-left, otherwise sound with two strikes of black MX. Then 2d blue with 1844-type postmark, four margins save just touching the tip of frame at upper-left corner, followed by 1d red imperfs incl. two attractive examples of distinctive Maltese crosses (Dublin and Plymouth), fifteen numbers-in-cross of which five are with four margins incl. '12' and one stamp in '3' pair, and further perforate issues incl. 2d blue plate 9 wmk inverted, plus three covers incl. superb Kidderminster cds strikes on 1831 stampless and 1844 large margins 1d red franking. Cat. £11,000.
