♦Henry VIII, (1509-1547), Silver Groat, York Ecclesiastical Mint, third coinage, facing bust type 3, no mm; obv. HENRIC (8 D G) AGL FRA Z HIB REX around crowned bearded bust of king, rev. CIVITAS EBORACI, long cross fourchée over quartered royal shield, small spur from top left corner of shield to inner beaded circle; wt. 2.53g, irregular edge in parts (lightly clipped), portrait weak in parts, most of legends clear, overall Fine.
