Postal history of KGV and KGVI: 90 loose covers, stationery envelopes, cards and wrappers, including two 1936 'Indo-Ceylon' first flight covers each direction, a small correspondence of Active Service envelopes (5) with KGVI pictorial combinations postmarked 'RAF Post Colombo', a few nice KGV combinations on registration stationery envelopes incl. 1935 1r, ten different values of the KGVI pictorials to 1r on Galle Face registered cover to Germany, etc. Please inspect.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
