The second part of the collector's working holding in six stockbooks, many thousands of stamps, including many hundreds of QV issues with watermark varieties annotated on reverse in pencil, for example used SG.65bw, 65bx and 65by (postal and non-postal cancels), also mint SG.64ax (2), SG.68b, SG.65b, 1890 15cts surcharge inverted used, 1910-11 10r mint, 1912-25 20r used (2), 1936 pictorials x6 mint sets, 1938-49 pictorials en masse with at least 4x sets mint and many varietes incl. 1942 50cts perf 14 vlh, good later issues as well for example 1951-54 with 8x each of the top two values mint/MNH, etc, etc. Plenty of interesting items to discover here and considerable postmark interest.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
