Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased European Otter (Lutra lutra), circa 1898, labelled R. Duncan, Newcastle Upon Tyne, a full mount juvenile laid upon a large faux rock, above a painted simulated pool of water, amongst a natural setting of tall grasses and fauna, set against a sky blue painted back drop, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case, 58.8cm by 23cm by 52.5cm, bearing reproduced taxidermist's signed label to interior lower right.
