In fully restored condition, it may not have been relined but it certainly has been cleaned and restored. There are some fine cracks to the paint surface, these are noticeable in the sky, particularly in the top right corner. There is good thick impasto in places with some engrained dirt in other areas. It is contained within a good quality possibly London made, gilt plaster and swept wooden frame, probably placed on the work in the 1980/90s. The back of the work is sealed up so difficult to determine whether the picture has been relined (030211)
