A George III Striking Table Clock, signed NathL Style, London, circa 1760, ebonised veneered case with inverted bell top pediment and carrying handle, glazed side panels, 7-inch arch brass dial, matted dial centre with a mock pendulum and date apertures and signed on a silvered plaque, strike/non strike selection lever above 12, arch with pendulum regulation dial, twin fusee movement with a verge escapement and rack striking on a bell, movement backplate with engraved scroll decoration throughout, movement secured into the case with two engraved brackets, 54cm high over handle see illustration

02.10.20 Case surfaces are rubbed in parts, some veneers with small cracks, case with scratches, right hand side glass panels with cracks and the back door glass is cracked, back door with a small piece of veneer replaced and some beading missing, back door lock has come off and needs placing back into position, dial is slightly discoloured, movement needs cleaning, movement in going order and striking.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
