A satinwood and brass inlaid burr walnut cased Victorian Silver Plate Fruit-Set, Second Half 19th Century, comprising:
Twelve pairs of silver plate mounted mother-of-pearl fruit eaters
A pair of berry-spoons
Two pair of nut-crackers
Two nut-picks
A pair of grape-scissors
all in fitted brass bound walnut case with hinged cover and fall front which opens to reveal two drawers, the case 29.5cm wide

Berry spoons are heavily worn and showing yellow base metal. No notable wear to the other components of the set. Wear and scratches to the fruit knives and forks. Case with slight lifting to the veneer and key lacking. All hinge functions working correctly. No notable warping to the top.
