Collection of over 100 covers (33 stampless and 72 franked) with scholarly write-up on pages, starting from 1735 bishop mark, nice study of 11 red oval 'Paid at Leeds' postmarks, sub-office straight-line cancels in blue and a group of superb undated two-arc sub-office cancels on imperf penny red covers (21) the stamps in variable quality but many postmarks of top-quality, especially Addingham, Cleckheaton, red Millbridge, blue Low Wortley, etc, several 'spoon' duplexes on nice 1d and 2d 'stars' covers incl. one to an elusive recipient with fifteen postmarks, systematic study of the duplex index and code figures on about 40 later covers (mostly perf 1d reds to the same addressee), through to some interesting later 19^th century and KEVII incl. study of the Parcel Post labels of the Leeds sub-offices (about 190 of which 24 with stamps, mixed condition).
