Taxidermy: A Collection of Various Grebe Cabinet Study Skins, circa late 19th-early 20th century, attributed to James Gardner, Museum of Natural History, 52 High Holborn, London, a collection of various Grebe cabinet study skins, eight Slavonian and other Grebes still within their original sealed newspaper wrapping, two bearing newspaper dates - 1875 & 1889, very rare and unusual to not have been unwrapped upon delivery, one Little Grebe bearing attached James Gardner trade label to the leg, together with four unwrapped specimens, (12).
