A charming collection of several hundred stamps organised in a loose-leaf album, with focus on locals, railways, rocket mail, air services, the philatelic exhibitions and some telegraph and revenue issues. The exhibitions run from Birmingham 1911 onwards with booklets of miniature sheets for Paignton 1936, Cambridge 1938, Brighton 1946, and Bournemouth 1948. The airmail section also with seldom seen material, one of the triangular rocket mail issues of 1934 with pilot's signature, etc. This would be a very difficult collection to re-assemble.
