Mecklenburg-Vorpommern victims of fascism set, 1946 West Saxony Leizpig Fair m/s MNH, 1949 Hanover Fair souvenir sheet, Bundesrepublik virtually complete, Berlin with plenty of better sets, DDR highly complete incl. Marx sheets, etc. Further useful Germany in the other stockbooks/albums, as well as a wicker hamper of worldwide stamps, generally basic, incl. sparse Ideal and New Ideal albums with a couple of Cape triangles noted. Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
