Mint and used collection of Great Britain in five albums and a stockbook, the mint running to 2020 with non-Machin face value exceeding £1,600. Also some interesting earlier issues incl. creased penny black with three margins tied on piece by red MX, dozens of QV revenues, etc. Three further volumes of many hundreds of fairly basic commonwealth and worldwide, as well as three black loose-leaf albums of unused pages.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
