A Pair of "Sevres" Porcelain Dessert Plates, painted after David Teniers, circa 1880, each of lobed circular shape, one painted with a metal worker in a smithy interior, the other with two peasants near an open fire, bearing signature D Teniers within midnight blue borders enriched with rocaille and shell motifs in gilt, bearing blue enamel crossed Ls mark and B, 23.5cm diameter; and Another Example, painted with two lovers in a woodland glade in the manner of Antoine Watteau, signed Collin, within midnight blue border enclosing three floral sprays in vivid enamels and gilt, printed mark in blue and also red printed Chateau des Tuileries mark, 24.8cm diameter (3)

Two Teniers plates - generally good with some slight flaking of the gilding on the rim line and slight rubbing of the other gilt detail. Tuileries example - gilding wearing thin throughout the plate but no chips or cracks noted.
