QEII mint accumulation in stockbooks (partially filled) and SG boxed hingeless volume II (boxed volumes III and IV also present but empty) filling a grocery box, with commem sets in gutter and traffic light blocks and a good range of Machins incl. multiples to £5, an album for booklets, and loose packets of pristine cylinder blocks and Questa balloon blocks. Also year packs into the 2000s (some unopened) and perfect Press Sheet of the 2008 50th Anniversary of the Country Definitives miniature sheet (uncut sheet of 15x m/s) carefully rolled in tube as sent by the Post Office. Face value alone a minimum £900.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
