Signed in pencil, inscribed and numbered 4/50, with the artist's monogram stamp, linocut printed in colours, 30cm by 45cm
Unlike many of their contemporaries the Grosvenor School did not solely focus on futuristic landscapes and the industrial, shying away from depicting traditional subjects of nature. They continued to apply their bold, stylized use of colour, breaking down forms in order to transform the traditional into the modern while maintaining their signature sense of rhythm and harmony.

Slight discolouration to the paper. Crease to each corner. Top right-hand corner has a crease and one from the top edge down through green spotty area. Also crease within the green to left of centre top edge. Tin pin-sized hole to centre of right-hand side green tree and another pin-sized hole to top centre of blue area in the centre of print. Good, strong colours. Following the initial condition report this work has now been mounted using acid free tape and an acid free mount. (unframed)
