Disorganised collection/accumulation in 20 albums/stockbooks and loose on cards, filling two grocer's boxes and a container, majority Russia with neatly presented mint sets and souvenir sheets to early 21st centur, also occasional useful non-Russian material (incl. USA and Canada face value). Better Russia includes hundreds of 19th century Tzarist issues, 1934 airship travel propaganda set used (SG.662/666), 1935 'Chelyuskin' rescue issues with 25k and 50k mint (SG.684, 687), 1935 anti-war set mint (SG.673/677), 1935 Spartacist Games set mint (SG.692/701), 1938 North Pole Flight set on illustrated FDC, 1946 revolution anniversary m/s used x2 (SG.MS1224c), 1949 Pushkin m/s used stuck down (SG.MS1492a), 1955 agricultural exhibition sheets set of three MNH, etc, as well as much back of book incl. Ukraine trident ovpts, Armenia ovpts, Post Offices in Turkish Empire incl. Jaffa and Jerusalem surcharge sets MNH, etc, etc. Please inspect.

Highlights of the October 30th Stamp Sale include a very extensive collection of Switzerland assembled over a lifetime by a former President of the Helvetia Society of Great Britain with focus on postal history beautifully written-up on album pages; a specialised collection of Ceylon with many of the key stamps including an excellent range of classics plus King George V key-plate high values, plus from the same estate a group of the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir including a complete presentation album sent out in 1899 on behalf of the Maharajah. Also an extremely interesting large folio presentation volume of 19th Turkish revenue proof sets with ornate binding suggesting a possibly unique production for the Ottoman royal family.
