Antlers/Horns: Indian Water Buffalo (Bubalus arnee), circa 1901, Central India, a large set of adult bull horns on upper skull, right horn 104.5cm (41"), left horn 107cm (42"), widest span 124cm (48¾"), tip to tip 97cm (38¼"), entry reference within the game book notes - no 84. Buffalo Bull, killed by Jock in Central India in 1901".
Measured using Rowland Ward Method 10.

To include a collection of Indian and European Game Trophies from Kilberry Castle, Argyll. Many of the trophies date from the second half of the 19th century, with rare and historical specimens including Asian Water Buffalos, Astor Markhors, Bengal Tigers, Indian Leopards and Himalayan Tahr.
