Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Cased Pair of Common Ring Plovers (Charadrius hiaticula), dated September 02nd, 1898, by Joseph Cullingford, Durham, a pair of adult full mounts, the male perched upon a small square plinth above the female below, both set against a plain papered interior, enclosed within a typical pine single-glass display case, 38.5cm by 16.5cm by 30.5cm, bearing text to interior floor in pencil "Dunnet, Sep 2, 1898", retail trade label to verso for "The Victorian taxidermy Co Ltd".
