A Victorian Silver Scent-Bottle, by Sampson Mordan, London, 1884, hexagonal and with hinged cover, the sides engraved with a bird within foliage, the hinged cover opens to reveal a glass stopper, 55mm high

Fully marked on side and further part marked on base and inside cover. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a shallow bruise to the cover. There is some remains of gilding to the surface in places, particularly on the cover.
