Good original unlined and unrestored condition, there is reasonably thick impasto in places and very delicately applied brushwork and fine glazes in other areas, the wooden stretcher bar across the top has left a minor crack in the paintwork, there is fly dirt and general dirt including dust an cobwebs to the underside of the glass and on the picture. Contained within its original rather dilapidated elaborately decorated gilt plaster and wooden frame, several pieces of plaster are missing from the frame (180912)
