19th Century Postal History, Mainly Line-Engraved

An interesting group of approx. 125 Victorian postal history items, including a sheaf of twenty imperf 1d red entires 1844/45 from Rochdale all to the same address with attractive Wellington-Somerset arrival postmarks, the sheets folded through the address, at least three quarters of the stamps four margins. The perf 1d reds on cover include 'stars' SG.40 plates 15-17 and SG.42 plates 50 and 51, then about 80 different plates from 71 to 204, the latter mostly from the same few Scottish correspondences, 1858-79, some oxidation and usual mixed condition, generally presentable. Also ½d plates 5 and 6 on six annuity stationary letters to Oldham in fine quality, 1876 OHMS accident report stationery detailing a steel worker's death, plus unusual postmarks incl. Manchester sideways duplex tying 'stars' 1d, Manchester spoon cover with Delph single-ring undated pmk on reverse, 1d lilac re-directed and 14 dots covers, etc. Please inspect.
