New issue accumulation in 35 volumes in three cartons: PHQ cards 1978-2021 in 18 Royal Mail binders all unused save a couple of earlier sets; prestige booklets in four small Royal Mail cover albums; green Royal Mail Post & Go binder with 30 packs; several further volumes with gutter/traffic-light/plate pairs to high values, FDCs incl. small section of numismatic covers, banknotes to £10, etc. Face value well over £1,300. A bonus is a fourth carton with 7-volume colour-illustrated International Encyclopedia of Stamps and several sundry albums, schoolboy collections etc.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
