A Collection of War Office Training Maps and Charts, including Operation Aberdeen June 5th 1942 (The Battle of Gazala)- a 1960 published sortie map, showing the area known as the "Cauldren" and a reconstruction of the moves by units and formations during the Aberdeen Operation, and two similar sortie maps showing the "Pop" Sortie of the Battle Area of the Tobruk 21st Nov,1941 to 7th Dec.1941, and the Tobruk Break-in, 20th June 1942, all issued to Major General John Dutton Frost, together with two "Restricted" files of RAF aerial photgraphs showing the areas of Tobruk and Bir Hacheim, Bir El Igela and a bound file "Malta and Libya, Command Study 1965, Events in the Western Desert, 26 May 42 to 20 June 42"

The sale will offer a good Private Collection of 19th Century Pistols, including fine pair of 19th Century 28 Bore Percussion Saw Handled Duelling/Target Pistols by Edward London and a U.S. Colt Model 1851 Navy Six Shooter. They are joined by interesting medal groups, including a Second World War Group awarded to Sergeant George Nattrass, a survivor of the Battle of Arnhem, which are sold alongside a published account of his experiences in the Battle (READ MORE). Further highlights include an Edwardian Officer's Dress Sporran to the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders and a good selection of edged weapons from Private Collections.
