Taxidermy: A Cased Gyrfalcon (Falco rusticolus), circa 1890-1900, ex museum display case, a full mount adult male, with head turning to the right, mounted upon snow and frost covered groundwork, amidst frosted branches and grasses, set against a painted mountain scene backdrop, enclosed within a period ebonised single-glass display case, 45.5cm by 25cm by 63.5cm, painted number to side of case 70, various museum notes to verso of the case, possibly a Joseph Cullingford or Robert Duncan specimen later re-cased
