The Sale on 5th April is led by a fine Hornby O Gauge 4-6-2 Princess Elizabeth LMS 6201 (estimate: £1,200-1,800 plus buyer’s premium). The locomotive was a special model issued in 1939 just before the war, and was the only Hornby locomotive to be a faithful replica of the real train, down to the smallest details. Further interesting lots in the sale include a rare Trix Twin Railway (Bassett-Lowke) Coronation Scot Set, a very rare Corgi 462 Commer Van Promotional Issue, and an FA Cup Final Presentation Pennant from the Newcastle vs Manchester United match at Wembley on 22nd May 1999.
