. A rare opportunity to acquire a correct and well maintained, pre-war sports car. Morgan started its journey in a small Malvern garage in 1909; the Morgan Motor Company was formed by Henry Fredrick Stanley Morgan (HFS) and it all started with three wheels. In 1908, Henry Morgan designed and built a car for his own use. The three-wheeler used his own design independent front suspension and was powered by a 7 bhp Peugeot twin cylinder engine left over from an abandoned motorcycle project. Morgan won the Cyclecar Grand Prix at Amiens in France with an average speed of 42 mph for the 163 mile distance. This established the company name and reputation in the world of competition and the car became the basis for the Grand Prix model from 1913 to 1926. This evolved into the model we have here today, the Aero. This stunning right-hand drive 1937 Morgan Super Sport 3 Wheeler has been in a private collection and in long term ownership. She is presented in traditional racing green with a black interior. It comes equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission, 900cc Mathles's V-Twin engine, dual side exhaust, soft top, Tonneau cover, and wire wheels. Paintwork and interior are in excellent order, as are the wheels and tyres. The condition can only be described as wonderful, sporting all its correct dials, lights and switches, a very original machine indeed. Eligible for popular VSCC events and light car racing, this is a very rare and highly collectible Morgan which would make a great addition to any classic car collection.
